The Brone Prize! In the Sixth Blue Star Cup • Weihai China International Architectural Design Competition

There comes the good news! The results of the Sixth Blue Star Cup • Weihai China International Architectural Design Competition have come out. This event is conducted by the Architectural Society of China, department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in Shandong Province, and Weihai Municipal Government. No.10 Studio won two awards; the project of Beijing Xishan creative industry base C, D District won the bronze prize, and the project of China Telecom Building Command Headquarters, Beijing telecom building Machine Building won the Award of Excellence.

The designers of Beijing Xishan creative industry base C, D District are YU Haiwei, XU Lei, LIU Aihua, YAN Zhaoyu, YANG Lei, ZHANG Yuming, XIE Yue, LIU Yanyan. The project is located on Beijing Xingshikou Road, which is part of the traditional West Mountain Cultural attractions. Construction was started in March 2007, and was completed in June 2009, the total construction area is ​​93137 M2. The feature of this design is multiple space experience, which enables plenty changes in a limited space. The design of individual building focuses on details, which secures the quality of architecture.

China Telecom Building Command Headquaters and Beijing Telecom Building Machine Building are the worldwide hubs for information exchange as well as the nationwide interaction, communication center and management center. The project lasts from 2003 to 2007 with a total floor area of ​​93900M2. The two towers were designed as a cuboids and a cylinder, which are partly separated but internally related so as to enhance the magnificence of the building

Both projects have been approved by the jury of experts, which is a great honor and great motivation for our design team. We will continue to work hard, improve ourselves and gain greater achievements!
