Armed police veteran service group locates at the cross of Landianchang Road and Huoqiying Road in Beijing Haidian, with the site area about 1.32 Ha. The main functions  are armed police conference reception and external services, such as accommodation, conferences, catering, entertainment and fitness facilities, according to four to five-star hotel standard . The floor area is 42000 m².On the east lies the Kunyu River and urban green space in planning and residential area on the west and north. Three old trees should be reserved in the south of the site. We coordinate the complex functions into four divisions to form clear flow line: first and second floor for meetings and dining district, above area for the hotel rooms and basement for entertainment and accessorial rooms. Further more analyzed the site conditions and the features of the project, we design the building as it grows up from the site organically. Under the sunshine analysis, we make full use of the height limitation on the south, while adopt the terrace-backwards building form to strive for the best use of space. Hotel Rooms extend based on the eastern side of the stretching green space and the retained trees to bring more rooms excellent visions and sunshine. The annex is axis-symmetric, with three synthetic courtyards and a roof garden and the mood of traditional courtyard. The main construction use single-slope roofs, gray stone for annex to seems solid and stable, white stone for upper part to seems elegant and light.
