The Owner of the Inner Mongolia Radio, Television & Digital Media Center is the Bureau of Radio, Film and Television in Inner Mongolia. It is a complex building of making radio and television program productions, broadcasting, transmission and administration, and information services. The Project locates at the northeast corner of the newly-developed area of Huimin District in Hohhot, faces Binhe Park in Tongdao Road North in east, the Genghis Khan Road in south, the Gong-nong-bing Road in west and the north Second Ring Road in north.
Inspired from the undulating white clouds in the sky and the galloping horses on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, the design represents geographical features and cultural connotation through the layered and ordinary building groups. The semi-circular arch structure at the top of the building shapes the building outline with a sense of rich rhythm, which not only embodies the building as a landmark in Hohhot, but also expresses the romantic and grand feelings of prairie people, and besides creates a distinctive architectural image. From the requirements of technology and functions, we adopt modern architectural language and spatial organization to build the media center with reasonable layouts, complete functions, advanced facilities, high-tech contents and high-efficiency.
