This project locates at XingShi-kou Road, between the SiHuan and WuHuan Road, about 1km from XingShi-kou Bridge. In the XiShan traditional culture beauty spot, The site has particular cultural context and ascendant environment recourse. Considering about this, the main purpose of the project is to form an art habitat led by culture industry, serving creative individuals and small organization.
The site area is 211530㎡,and first-stage construction was divided into A,B,C,D four parts, in which C, D District total floor area is 93,137 ㎡. Due to the development intensity and 15 meters high limit constraints, the usual low-density suburbanization office mode, with large green space as its core, could not be realized. The most significant problem is how to create a high-quality external space environment under the high Floor-area Ratio.
Based on the project scheme we decided to use two basic typical building cells. Certain numbers of each type cells compose basic building mass. Then according to the site conditions, three or four building masses with the same type compose a group. we use both the mode of European small town and Chinese traditional gardening ways for reference to create various spaces in the limited interspaces between the groups. In addition, four colors external wall tiles were used. Different colors between adjacent groups endow each group with stronger identifiability.
Detail was emphasized in monomer building design.  The elevations were elaborately designed to represent the high quality of the building, by the careful arrangement of the construction element, such as titanium zinc roof, aluminum window set, glass steeplechase and so on.
